True, it is a step up…a small step up from the original endings, but even with the EC, I’m still left wanting…
 
And yes, I also hate EA for destroying companies I loved, especially Westwood

Not to downplay the horrors of eternal subjugation to the Reapers or a galaxy-wide dark age, but it’s still a step up from “mass relays explode, everyone dies.” Then again, in the low-EMS destroy ending where the mass relays still explode, they go out of their way to show that not everyone dies because shut up. So… whatever. Just makes me glad I never got on the BioWare hype train. (Though I do sympathize, having my own reasons to hate EA: Bullfrog, Maxis, Westwood, and–don’t laugh–PopCap.)

I actually read one like that, except not only did Celestia not really get a lot done, she inadvertently released the Yozi from Malfeas, as she was converting a sizable patch of Creation into NotCreation. I was pretty disappointed too, because I wanted to see her be totally shocked when a circle of Solars popped integrity Protecting Prana, just strolled right through the Barrier and then beat her up.

@Solitair And then the ponies became Glee-club obsessed humanoids and had to be wiped out lest the horrible taint begin to infect humanity (more than it is already anyway)

I had an idea for an alternate implementation of the concept. After first contact between the human and pony worlds, those who want peace between them would invent Conversion as a way to see life through another species’ eyes. It would be completely voluntary, temporary, and it would work both ways.
 
That’s what I wish Conversion Bureau was about.
