You’re kidding, right? There is literally no reason anybody the least bit familiar with the Oddworld series should even have to ask that question. Yes, that is the joke, there is literally nothing else it could possibly be.

It was pretty funny that, considering the anti-industrial themes of the games, they had SoBe vending machine power-ups in Munch’s Oddysee. And considering the “No menus, no inventory bars” the first two games prided themselves on, the fact that Stranger’s Wrath was a shooter with a buttload of different ammo types was also pretty funny in an ironic sense.
