Posting a comment on an image a month after everyone stopped commenting on it isn’t helping, you know.
She did come close to kicking Queen Chrysalis’s flank, and sealed away several evil/chaotic entities, among other things.
Otherwise, she sends Twilight to do the same for her.
Well, I haven’t seen Celestia do much else, really. Occasionally she fixes something Twilight screwed up…
Because the other princesses of Equestria do nothing but host tea parties and dance with cute stallions, right?
Except for those who are arguing that Twilight shouldn’t be a princess and an alicorn if it’s not going to change all that much.
@Zennistrad
You’re not following the logic. Twilight is a princess, ergo she’s going to be hosting tea parties and dancing with cute stallions, ergo she’s boring. QED.
Yeah, and from what I saw in the E.G. movie she’s still the same old awkward, adorkable Twilight we all know. So aside from getting wings, there’s really no difference so far between the “old” and “new” Twilight Sparkle aside from wings.
(But regardless, I bet Twilicorn-haters will still claim there’s differences, even if there aren’t.)
We haven’t even seen what the “New Twilight” is like outside of a single spinoff movie that had nothing to do with her being a princess, so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
I liked “Spike at your Service.”
Nobody really liked Spike At Your Service anyway, and Games Ponies Play and Just for Sidekicks could have been saved for a time when they were more relevant.
If they’d done that, we would have gotten fewer episodes that focused on the other characters, and people would be whining about that instead.
They could have had a few episodes that pointed in the general direction, at least. All we got was that little Starswirl book sighting at the end of the Crystal Empire episodes. Contrast that with Best Night Ever, which had at least two episodes in S1 devoted to specifically leading up to that finish line. Blame it on deadlines and a short season or whatever, but it could have been miles better however you look at it.
Yeah. “Destined to do great things” I will buy, since we were there to see them. Acension wasn’t something even thought to be possible in canon till now. The speculation was always there, but now it’s officially a thing that happens.
MMC was rushed because they only had a single episode for it. 13 episodes isn’t a lot of room to work with for a season, so they had to compress what should have been a two-parter into a single episode by making it mostly songs.
It would seem you need clarification. Basically, just because Twilight appeared to have some grand destiny from early on to some, that is a long way off from actually building up to your so-called “ascension” in a very specific and attentive way. Season 3, at the time that Twilight’s ridiculous coronation occurred, had spent a couple of episodes yammering on about some Equestria Games, which apparently will be further continued in Season 4. MMC is like an entry shoved in out of order. It’s jarring and makes very little sense, outside of the logic of “We need a winged Twilight toy ad NOW!”
I love the show best when I can forget that fact easily.
Twilicorn is a toy thing, sure, but so is the entire series, and Twilight “ascending” in some way or another has been yelled at us from day one.
The difference is, the show is the overall concept. Within that concept, there’s a great deal of freedom and room for the writers and other team members to make something great. MMC was too direct in the toy sales-driven sense, because we see that rather than allowing the story to end up with Twilight’s promotion organically, we get this episode that seems shoved in out of nowhere.
So is the entire show.
hehe just a (not improbable) exageration, i mean, season1 AJ let ponyville get ravaged by bunies! and also got the whole town sick
that monster!we could also thorize that sooner or later she would had fuck up something, or someone because of her sturboness or lack of friends/extra helping hands.
i guess flutershy did had friends… she was at the party in the 1st chaper. and she knew RD since her childhood…
and that reply was for you, its just that i got the daam 404 error and had to rewrite.
about your reply to zen, i keep thinking we should have a forum whit the sole purpose to bitch about anything we want.
