Description

I’m getting bored with the clean cut same body type blandness of Equestria Girls. I’d thought I try to make the characters more diverse. Pinkie Pie more full, Rainbow Dash more muscular, Fluttershy more modest, Rarity also more modest. I didn’t know what to do with Applejack. But seriously it looked like every girl had a small waist with stuffed bras.

Rainbow Dash looks a little pudgy in the stomach. I think Pinkie Pie kind of chunky, mostly because I know a lot of girls like her with that kind of body type

It’s easier to both animate and produce dolls if they all have the same body type. Plastic is expensive, so they make them skinny. Cloth is also expensive, so they wear skirts. It’s less about not wanting to make a shitstorm and more about that they don’t want to pay more money.
 
Besides, ponies have what, three or four models for each gender that they just repeat over and over again?
