She does sort of have a thing for him, mostly for the reasons PonyPon said, but overall he is oblivious of the relationship and is primarily focused on trying to get a case of nails (his goal in the comic; the CMC destroyed a gazebo). However, his activities with Princess Luna actually distract Mac from getting the nails and make him forget about it for a short while until he finishes the competition they had entered. And Luna does tend to get a little closer and more personal with him than pretty much any other character.

At this moment, the comics make me ship him with Luna, even if he is (mostly) oblivious of the relationship.

I never hated the ship, just didn’t care for it. (Out of the main six, Pinkie’s the only one I would ship…Though I kind of like him and Zecora, so I’m on the fence…Not to mention that the comics got me to start liking him with Fleetfoot. Now it’s a three way.)

The only things I liked out of the entire movie were the fact that Mac was as much a stud as his pony self, Canterlot High is apparently a school for superheroes and the soundtrack would have been catchy without the vocals.
