personally i’m pissed that the writers have decided to make her this one dimensional, which is why i’m complaining about it.

People just like to conplain. Don’t let yourself be bothered by it.
It’s not just that BP’s comment, actually; that was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. Cynicism and negativity seem to be the prevailing attitudes, and not just about EqG or Twilicorn or S3. I was already a pessimistic son of a sea cook before I found the brony fandom; I’d hoped it would help me overcome that tendency, not aggravate it.
Maybe it’s time to just step back from the fandom, and check in again a month or so into S4, in the unlikely event that improves the general mood.
Don’t listen to them. Lot’s of us really love Applejack. Some people are just resentful that she had such a large presence in season three, and Rarity hardly said anything that didn’t have to do with fashion.
She does seem to cook the most out of the mane six. We get that Pinkie works at a bakery, but we don’t see her cook that often. (plus, she already declared Applejack the best baker ever)

make that “apples” and “family” cause we haven’t seen shit of the other ones since season 1. (unless you count making a risky bet as “business”. and no, we hardly saw athletics in “the last roundup” either.)
