Of course later, Spike, Cadence and Shining killed Sombra with the Heartstone, but they weren’t villains.

That somehow makes negative sense. It makes so little sense that it inverts on itself, making sense for about a fraction of a second before sinking into an oblivion from which no sense may escape.
 
Revan was a master strategist. Chrysalis was a moron. Revan was a human Jedi. Chrysalis is a love bug. Revan never held title outside of ‘General’ and ‘Sith Lord/Lady’. Chrysalis is a queen. Revan’s concerns were to protect the Republic, long-term, against a veiled threat from wild space. Chrysalis’ goals were simply to find rich sources of sustenance.
 
Really, she has more in common with Warhammer 40K’s Tyranid swarm than with Revan.

Heck, chirins ringing bell had all sorts of violent murder coming from both the protagonist and antagonist of the movie and it was aimed at little kids too

Funny thing is, some on Twitter were complaining the MLP:FiM comic was “to dark,” and then the writer & artist of the comic started posting the names, and events to other G-rated, and PG-rated movies aimed at kids (or popular with them) that had even darker/edgier things happen in them.
