Pirates are murderers and criminals, and there is never anything funny about murder. Yet still, our society glorifies and romanticizes piracy. We live in a “pirate culture” if you will. How would you feel about Pirates of the Caribbean if one of your loved ones had been murdered by pirates? It would be sickening. People’s rights to feel comfortable without being disturbed by pressing issues such as piracy far outweigh freedom of speech, thus we should do everything we can to remove such insensitive material from the internet.
