Who is to stop some one from having an OC that is exactly the same as another or someone just using that OC any ways. Especially when most of them look the same any ways either a recolor from the show or something that looks like fresh bile and blood from some one pukeing with random stripes.
See, it’s not the giving away that should worry you. Being a part of it myself, the OC adoption process it quite fun for the person behind it, if not for the sheer feeling of power it brings. It’s the fact that someone wanted this OC, that is what should worry you.
Not to mention some people pay ACTUAL MONEY (sometimes as much as a few dollars) to buy someone else’s OC (or rather an OC in a group of pallet swapped OCs).
So basically it’s taking the O out of OC and just making it a generically obtained character.
He’s supposed to be a raver? I can’t even tell scene from rave.
Sheesh. Kids these days.
It’s DA. Some naive artist probably won it.
Let’s face it, almost all of our first OCs were painfully bad.
Did that person REALLY win something worth winning?
“Haha this is up on a bad oc site, whatever :D
I drew this last year guys, I know it’s a shitty oc. Why do you think I’m giving him away?
Also they implied that no one would want to draw this, and heh..Well if that were true, no one would have entered the contest, duh!
Well that’s all!~
Toodle loo!”
TL;DR: The artist is saying that she knows it’s shit, doesn’t want it, held a contest to give it away, someone won contest to take OC.
