The coin falling out of the tree is a nice subtle reference to the AC game/s.

I figured out an easy way to catch bees. After the beehive falls, run like hell north/up from it, and then as the bees approach, press left, or right on the control pad to switch items, then stop, and use the net to catch them when they start to fly torward you.
