It didn’t. She merely “let them off the hook”, not forcing Lyra into a party she doesn’t seem to want. She offered that they could come to the party regardless, for that very reason. :)  
She won’t really get any more screentime apart from appearing in the background from time to time, but this meeting was pretty much unavoidable considering Pinkie strives to know (and be friends with) everypony in Ponyville.
