In my headcanon, it was at this moment that Megatron gained what he’d been missing when he’d been passed over for the name of Prime, which he now shares with Optimus.
As the name “Megatronus Prime” was that of The Fallen, that’s out, though if we consider the origin of Megatron’s new appearance, an idea springs forth.

well yeah… for once megatron is turn to good because he technically went through his own cybertronian hell…so it has more meaning his suddenly change of heart even though it is a little bit confusing because we didn’t spend enough time with megatron .. it makes sense that enduring such a humiliating position of his own making would have make him rethink his own life
