Ironically, they have put some fanon things in the comic. Like using DJ/Vinyl’s red fanon eyes, instead of the show’s canon purple/magenta eyes. (I think I like the magenta better.)

You wish.

Both Andy and Katie stated some months ago that they don’t like to put fandom things (aside of your regular Derpy Hooves or Dr Hooves /Time Turner stuff) in the comic.

However,there’s nothing wrong when it comes to sketches that has nothing to do with them like in this case.
