The Reason is simple, this are not a real Gun, its an small Plastic Gun for an Matrix Agent Smith Action Figure.
This little Gun, who is maybe 1 cm long cant have that much Details.
After all, from the side it look close to a Dessert Eagle.

You can tell the artist hasn’t drawn guns very often. It’s passable as a gun, and somewhat recognizable as a Deagle in specific bits, but… it took a bit to see. I’ll admit it’s definitely better than I could do, and guns are not easy to draw accurately for anyone.
