Well for Twilight it was more of a cast of she could find real proof if she though things out better.
 
This is just bland how boarding the characters are, also 90% of the story is done via Dues Ex

I hope this story doesn’t make the same mistake as the Canterlot Wedding eppisodes, having the main character (Luna in this case) being right mostly out of good luck. For what we’ve seen so far, Chrysalis has done good like saving lives and may be genuinely trying to feed her people in a non-harming way, and Luna didn’t react properly (With Chrysalis and with the people). I would find it underwhelming if Chrysalis turned out to have been simply “evil” all along.
