The officer said they’d send Twi and Spike back to their parents, but nothing beyond that.
The justifications for the actions of the cop are pretty janky, given that it’s possible that they quite literally saw Twilight fly between cars and over a person’s head, but I’m going to stop getting so holed up about it now, anyway.
I think it’s still more believable that they’re kinds in some sort of inventive soaring costmes, than sapient alien race from another dimension.

That’s what I get for not reading the previous pages beforehand.
Still, would you be able to pass Spike off as some kid in a costume? If we’re going by the “ponies are around 3 to 4 feet tall” thing, then Spike would be about 2 feet.
Wouldn’t the police officer ask where the “kids’” parents are?
