Alternatively for Applejack there’s Applebrandy.
(Human versions could be refered to as Jackie and Brandyn. At least, that’s what I would do.)
It’s hard sometimes, you know? Sometimes, you have a handy name from mythology (Discord -> Eris), other times you can use synonyms (Rarity -> Elusive, Twilight Sparkle -> Dusk Shine) and some make absolutely no sense but stick anyway (Fluttershy -> Butterscotch) and sometimes, you’re like “Fuck this, the name’s pretty androgynous anyway.” (Applejack -> Applejack)

But, yeah. Flare Sentry >> Flare Warden. For some reason, people seem to think they have to change a name heavily to get a R63 version, even though the point is for the name to be almost exactly the same; just slightly more masculine/feminine.
I think the people who drinks would care.
