The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

@Jack Kellar
In all fairness, Rarity is perfectly capable of throwing down on the show, so there’s nothing stopping her from combining classic savagery with marshmallowy goodness.

And I’d enjoy ‘Human in Equestria’ fanfics a lot more if Twilight and Rarity instinctively tried to slaughter the newcomer.

Human: I did it! I’m in Equestria! Hello, pretty ponies!
Rarity: Die!
Human: Aah! My eye! Why, waifu, why?

@unicornlord
That’s a later interpretation. One old interpretation was that unicorns were savage beasts that gored men with their horns and hooves, but a virgin could get near them without getting killed because their spiritual purity calmed down the unicorn enough for it to not want to kill.

I like this one better, personally.

In the shadow of the forest though she may be old and worn
They will stare unbelieving at the last unicorn
