Princess Celestia: That is why I was thrilled you were all attending. I was hoping you could liven things up a bit.
I think that’s consistent with my headcanon that Celestia didn’t initially invite all the Elements because she thought they wouldn’t like it.
 
But hey, who am I to fight the Trollestia tide? All hail our manipulative diarch!
