Not to mention they were kidnapped and nearly eaten by one of them.
I had a friend show up at a halloween party dressed as a Arab Terrorist. In 2011. He had a literal towel on his head secured with black tape, little sunglasses, a fake beard, an airsoft AK-47 in one hand and a Koran in the other, blocks of plasticine duct-taped to his chest, and a Micky Mouse alarm clock hooked to them with a mess of wire.
I thought it was funny, my ex thought it was funny, the guys hosting the dance did not.
Really? And here I always thought I was some deep, enigmatic person… :O
And Apple Bloom? Imagine Satan showing up to compliment your devil costume.
Somehow I knew you’d say that.
Of course, the sheer amount of shock it would generate in the adult ponies makes it funny again, and the kid’s naivety is quite adorable. So it loops around I suppose.
Well, in-universe, only Scootaloo could get away with it, seeing as she’s dressed as the being their holiday is centered around.
Babs too maybe, so long as they don’t go to the Crystal Empire. Then for her it’s like dressing up as Hitler in Israel.
Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle would probably have to break the theme by going as something different.
