life simulator or platformer works best
i know this make me sound like an asshole, so i appologize.
i dont know anymore.
because i dont know if they end up like that because his limiations. or because they just say “bah, they are going to buy it any way”
Umm…
How does “really good effort, honesty, and quality” equal “perfect or beautiful”?
i mostly try not.
i mean, they are good. but i wouldnt call them perfect or beautiful.
You’re one of those “it’s all bad so you souldn’t care about it” types, aren’t you?
even they are decent. they suffer a lot of horrible paint jobs and molds deformities.
>the same show with the people who thought “you know what will be great?, a monster high setting”
You mean the toy company?
The Funko MLP stuff…
but let me fix that….
i know they kind do it best… maybe.
but you need alot more of people to make quality stuff oustide the show
oh yea, the same show with the people who thought “you know what will be great?, a monster high setting “
the one who decided “every girls want to be a princess and high schools dramas”
The show.
if you want really good effort, honesty, and quality from a MLP product… you probably will not be able to find it.
I really wouldn’t play it unless it had very good quality and at least semi-reasonable prices. Don’t like to support stuff that does its business like that. Anyway, the format makes it difficult to put much work into personality traits for the characters, which would severely weaken any MLP game.
I meant would you play one that was both good and intended to empty your wallet.
I don’t care about Skylanders and Disney Infinity seems to offer more to do but I’m not going to play that either.
I don’t think Skylanders is a good game to use as an example if that’s the goal, considering the barely-existent story and gameplay plus the very high prices of the Skylanders themselves.
Basically what I’m saying is Skylanders isn’t very good, it eats cash like potato chips, and please don’t give Hasbro bad ideas.
What if it’s both?
@Background Pony
Do we honestly want a game made for the purpose of printing money for Hasbro? Personally I’d rather have a game that’s intended to be good than one intended to empty our wallets.
well, that doesnt stop them for trying to use the same technology.
they just make the portal, even it could be the damn EQG portal, so they make his EQG figures too.
They have an exclusive contract with Ubisoft for console games IIRC.
Again: there’s money in it. There’s more money in a “Beam Box” type thing for MLP than Transformers, I’d think.
Oh, and I still think they’d make a new, alternate franchise for their “Transformers demographic” that is fantastical in nature, probably heavily inspired by (or just based around) FiM.
Considering how Hasbro’s been fighting that idea, I wouldn’t expect a game like that anytime soon.
Yeah, and things like the Beam Box and Transformers Animated in general prove that you can sell “softer” franchises to that audience.
I don’t expect them to use “My Little Pony” in the name. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the art style were similar. Probably would be called “Adventures in Dragonia” or something like that.
