I feel that Octavia should have given Vinyl a warning the last time a concert was ditched. I inferred from the phone conversation that Octavia bottled her frustrations and allowed her hurt feelings to build to a breaking point, When you tell your real friends how they’ve hurt you, they’ll understand and behave accordingly. Some of my friends have make the same mistakes over and over because I didn’t speak up. Friendship is magic but mindreading is not one of its perks. Octavia should know that.  
Or she might if she wasn’t a talking cartoon pony.

Know what Octavia, she is really sorry about missing your concert. She even stopped working on her song just to try to make it. She tried to get in, but the bouncer wouldn’t let her. Why are you being so cold, Octavia? She really is sorry. Why can’t you forgive her?
