Yeah, I don’t understand it either. It seems many people downvote based solely on the fact that it features a canon character with an OC.

You could argue the same for the thousandth Vinyl Scratch/Octavia Melody ship. Or the millionth Twilight/Trixie ship. I’d say this is slightly more original.

I don’t see why Canon x OC is such an incredibly bad thing. The art here is great.
 
The weird thing is, if you change a few colors around to make the OC look like an existing character from the show, the upvotes suddenly soar. People are sad.

Princess Twilight visiting her ponies in hospitals and giving them TLC is a cute idea. Who wouldn’t want comfort from a beloved princess?
