…What exactly DID Trixie learn from Twilight?
 
Boast Busters had Trixie getting her ass kicked and life ruined because of a lie, but her lying wasnt the problem (Rarity has told way worse - and it still wasnt an issue). Her jackass nature was the problem and that was unrelated to the Ursa attacking. Unless you count having no friends, but she doesnt seem to give one.
 
Magic Duel had her under the influence of a weird amulet, and apologising for it. But the only lesson we got out of that was confirmation that Boast busters fucked her life over, and that she wasnt a complete bitch. She still only apologises to Twilight, presumably because she doesnt give a rats ass about the rest.
 
Dont get me wrong, id love to see a role reversal. but Trixie’s life hasnt exactly been enriched by Twilight’s presence. Its one of the few cases i can think of where interaction with a protagonist has so completely destroyed an (allegedly) non-evil character’s life.
 
If Twilight learnt something from Trixie it would have to be something she actually embodies. Like self-confidence, or willpower or something. Shes got plenty of admirable quantities to go with the bad ones. but she hasnt been taught anything since the series began other than ‘Run the fuck away from Sparkle’.

I always had wanted to see an episode with a role reversal, basically Twilight starts loosing it BIG TIME and Trixie has to help teach Twilight the very lessons that her experiances with Twilight helped her learn.

But really. Twilight didn’t even take some royal guards with her when she rushed to Ponyvil. She flied instead by herself. ;)  
So it is kinda funny. But as long as she isn’t effected by the allicorn amulet, she wouldn’t do such a thing.
