I keep telling myself they wouldn’t go there, but…
 
Well just to put this in perspective. That last episode feature a dramatically dark lit slow pan of Twilight sobbing over the battered body of her mentor. It had Celestia crying as she was forced to strike down her own sister.
 
Compare that with season one when Hasbro was iffy on Rainbow calling Twilight and egghead.
 
They might actually go and do dark Twilight.

So I though this was introduced and wrapped up in season 3. With the magic illusion whatsit door been defeated by happy magic instead of this. I figured evil Sombra magic was open and shut right there.
 
Now they’ve brought it back… I’m a little worried about where this is going.
