Not all of them were slaughtered.
…Some of ‘em were moved to reservations, and just had their homes, communities, and farmlands taken away… (I’m part Chereokee BTW.)
Every holiday is excuse to eat lots of food day. It just makes the difference of whether to have roast, turkey, or barbeque.

Same. I had turkey for Christmas dinner once, it was far too dry, even with gravy.
Plus Mother’s and Father’s day.
Now about the other odd ones…
She’d probably have reasonable success with Halloween and Christmas, since Nightmare Night and Hearth’s Warming aren’t too different from them.

No offense, but I always saw it as “Excuse to eat a shit ton of food” day.
Not saying that’s bad though, I’d love to experience a Thanksgiving feast :P
On a side note, once Thanksgiving is over we have the best holiday after that :D
It’s celebrating good times in America’s founding and how the Natives helped us…Of course, we Americans soon slaughtered the Natives and took the land for ourselves, but that’s another story.
