@SuperSonic15
Personally I see it that Twilight’s potion couldn’t really fully integrate Twilight with its mental separation spell(remember she never physically went back in time) To compensate the spell took some of her memories and physical expectations of certain ponies(the princesses,Nigthmare moon and pasted it over the actual forms of the princesses for mental conveyance(that’s why they all look the same as from modern times).For the potion to form a bloodied version of the princess would overload it “memory card”or something.
This theory could also explain why Twilight didn’t see the no doubt super epic battle between luna and Celestia before Celestia blasted her to the moon.
Amazing at how after taking a direct hit to the chest and the fall back to the throne room floor below, Celestia soon rises back to her feet without a scratch on her.
She either is extremely durable when she was 1000 years younger, or her status as an immortal Alicorn makes her able to survive even a direct hit from her own corrupt little sister’s magic…

I’m sure if they could’ve they would put blood everywhere and stuff,just imagine a bunch of mercury like alicorn blood all over the floor.
Seemed a little ridiculous to me, she took a blast to the chest from someone looking to KILL her then a good 50-100ft fall and got up after a few seconds with no visible damage.
Oh, she’s dead.
“PRIIINCEEEESS!!”
Good point. The potion had to be designed to avoid showing too much violence since it was a show for little girls after all.

I guess that largeness contributes to her durability.
They are presumably goddesses.
Guess she got out of shape after a thousand yeears.
MOOOOOOON!
