True, it does lose a bit of steam. It coasted along very much on the randomness and didn’t really have enough substance to wrap the bag up.
I also recall one where Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Twilight and Rarity all decide to fess up to their feelings for RD… at the very same time. And of course, she’s straight. Can’t recall what that one was called, though…
I remember that one. Also remember being incredibly disappointed by the ending. The alternate ending has a whole lot more potential, as you could see that one as Dash not ready to accept Pinkie’s feelings and completely misinterpreting everything else, which might make a pretty damn good story.
