Hardly. Too glorified, too OP for my tastes now, the reason I never liked the other two princesses. Cadence is fine, because for a princess she’s pretty normal. She can’t fly, her magic isn’t too strong, she was never openly praised by her people in Crystal Kingdom. Cadence is the kind of princess Twilight should be but is not.
 
One of the dumbest things I’ve ever read on Derpibooru.

That wasn’t the real Cadence. Real Cadence would have done the Sunshine Sunshine greeting with Twilight.
 
To me anything that happens after S3 is not canon anyway.
