The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Saw Frozen this past weekend with my family. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an animated movie that was as much of a spectacle as this was. Just magnificent from beginning to end. The music, the story, the character and costume designs, and please don’t forget the not-so-subtle deconstruction of the whole Disney Princess formula. This movie needs awards, and not just the token “Best Animated Feature” one.

Wreck-it Ralph was good, but it felt like Disney-doing-Pixar (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Frozen, on the other hand, feels like classic Disney. It’s the fairytales that are the heart and soul of Disney nostalgia, and Frozen was one of the best of their works. I’d rank it right up there with the rest of the Disney Rennaisance works.
