So are we just going to forget Aquaman fights Cthulhu every year? And wins?
He could make Superman and Batman his personal bitches if he wanted to.
Well, I’d say that for a pony, suddenly gaining indestructible claws/fangs, firebreath, a super resistant “coat” that can tank most hits (and is fireproof and lavaproof as well) and the ability to suddenly turn into godzilla by being greedy…would count as a superpower.
Spike is simply too young to truly exploit his “powers”, which makes him look powerless.
P.S. Hm, but what about the Stare and Pinkie Sense? Seems like psychic powers to me.
That’s a typical problem characters run into: bad writing. The writers tried to make him a crime-fighter (like Batman), when he’s more geared to fight monsters and warlords (like Wonder Woman). If they want to pursue the crime-fighter angle than pirates and poachers would be better matches.
More descriptive than saying “talk to fish,” huh?

Oh, and they rewrote his powers so he doesn’t talk to fish. He does something like “broadcast a wavelength that compels the fish to obey his commands” or something like that.
They relocated San Diego underwater so he could have shit to do. Aquaman still sucks no matter how maximum his power is.
You mean the guy with an empire and control over the entire ocean? Sharks, krakens, man-o-war.
You should check out what Aquaman’s been doing since Superfriends. He’s way better than you think.
Humdrum’s more useful than Aquaman.
