I don’t think it’s possible to source on 9gag.  
I’m always posting both here and KYM. And although there’s less demand for the source and lazy OPs are taking advantage of this(and unfortunately only OP and mods have permission to edit). The open code there has also some advantages - You can link to several sources at the same post (Like Da and Tumblr) for example, Embed video, and ect.  
It does not require a lot to do, but some people are too lazy for a simple copy / paste, and also lack some basic principles ​​that should be understandable to everyone!
