Why bother, the song probably has nothing to do with MLP.

Agreed, although I’m sure it’s not everyone.
 
However, most of the people working on the show have had careers that are still young or have had careers that are not those of Angelina Jolie or Samuel Jackson.
 
Even Lauren Faust wasn’t held in nearly divine regard even though she was well-known. And Tara Strong, as iconic as she is…within voice acting…wasn’t as adored as she is now.
 
Of course, people composing music for children’s cartoons or doing voices for those cartoons (or designs or animation, or directing, or writing) don’t get this much attention from anything else. It’s a rare thing for people to get legit respect and credit for what they do.
 
Also, most are probably rather outgoing, spotlight-digging folks. These are still artists, writers, actors/actresses, and various others of the highest caliber. They probably just enjoy their spotlight more than the average guy. I don’t expect everyone to be super humble when they get more attention than anyone else in their industry.

Ha. It’s funny because the unreleased song would become a released song if he released it.

I don’t know I think his songs have gone down hill the last season and a half. Certainly he hasn’t done anything as good as This Day Aria or Winter Wrap Up this season.
 
Heres hoping Weird Al is the first of the musical cameos.
