Animation - TAWOG (Spongebob being stuck 2d; TAWOG’s is everywhere) 
Plot - TAWOG (anything instead of Spongebob getting stuck with making burgers) 
Cast - TAWOG (not enough range in SB; more diverse with Gumball) 
Length - Spongebob (18 years vs 6 for Gumball) 
Quality - TAWOG (modern Spongebob is bad - boring and unfunny; TAWOG has a fucking invisible car chase, Richard doing an epic quest simply for mayonnaise, Gumball running across town for a late movie, etc)

Hey, why is Gumball wearing shoes, but Nicole isn’t?

A bit of a shame. Logan Grove, and the kid who voices Darwin, are getting replaced with new VA’s for the next season.
 
They succumbed to the condition that claims many young actors/VA’s: puberty.
 
The kid who voices Finn from Adventure Time got lucky, even though he initially only got the job since his older brother, who was in the pilot, ALSO had his voice change before the show went on air.

I find gumball ok, but not the greatest.  
But a step in the right direction for CN.  
I do find the mother vary memorable for some reason. Fun fact: her job is at rainbow factory.  
No joke look it up.

I actually like this show.

Gumball isn’t my favorite show but the multiplicity of it’s animation techniques and it’s creative nature in general make it hard to ever dislike.
 
It’s part of what makes animation fun and great. Now Angry Orange…

The different animation styles all over the place are neat
