Fluttershy was the lab rat in most of Discord’s experiments. One of them turns her into an enormous rage monster (“Thanks.”) when her patience is compromised. The other turns her into a vampire that could earn the respect of Dracula himself.

Yeah, Fluttershy wasn’t the only one to be put under a superhero persona in it.
 
Don’t know why people are now complaining about “gimmicky” episodes all of a sudden, when season 1 had a few to. (Like the bottle-episode “Look before you Sleep.”)

Somebody told me Flutterhulk was freakier, and more disturbing then “Flutterbat.” After seeing this, I have to disagree.
