I absolutely love Derpy, partly because curiosity about her is one of the main factors in getting me to try the show in the first place, but yeah, we do tend to get overly obsessive about her.

True, the people saying that Derpy stole the episode are way off-base. Everyone knows that Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps stole the episode.

I’ve felt that way since the reaction to pre-edited The Last Roundup. Some people act like she’s a cult symbol rather than a fun nod to fans.
Yes, it was cute to see her return, no doubt about that, but claiming RD was overshadowed by her is stupid. I liked Rainbow’s performance, Derpy was just the animators tipping their hats to the fandom.
Also I wish to see an episode in the future where Rainbow realizes the wonderbolts suck balls and decides to make her own flying team, involving Bulk and Derpy.
