No, me neither.
Wait, you mean it isn’t? Goddammit, there goes the mining project…
Ask just about any fans out there what their least favorite episode(s) might be, and they’ll all give you totally different answers.
But even if most people DID agree on that (which is far from being true), that wouldn’t make them one lepton more accurate about it than if they all believed the moon was made of cheese.
Nice ad hominem, Tex.
Why don’t you ask /mlp/? Or derpibooru? Or pretty much anywhere other than possibly Ponychan? they’ll tell you the same damn thing.
Is he on this site? I thought he pretty much kept to dA.
I was expecting GreivousFan to use a gif like that. XD
I thought the first four episodes were some of the most well received.
I already know you can be a jerk, it’s not like you have to flaunt it.
I know exactly what you’re talking about, and I reiterate that you’re mistaken. Show me the oh-so-high authority that says the episodes written by Lauren were “considered the poorest”. Show me the proof of your ridiculous claims.
Don’t sit there spouting off like you have any kind of facts to back you up.
I was talking about episodes, genius.
Yes, she laid the groundwork without which the show wouldn’t be as charming in the first place, but LIKE I SAID, the episodes directly written by her were considered amongst the poorest.
If you’d clear the wax out of your ears and stopped screaming “B-BUT MUH LAUREN” at the top of your lungs, maybe you would’ve caught that.
No, she most certainly is not. It took genius to set the stage for the show as we now know it, the show that blew everyone’s expectations out of the water.
Frankly, if you think she’s a poor writer, I’d have to say you’ve made a massive error.
IT’S _RE-_HAPPENING!
Maybe friendshipping is part of the training. Her title is little more than ceremonial right now. Who is to say that she didn’t do other things off screen? And Twilight is known to do a lot of book studying off screen.
But if they gave her the wings, the song, dance, and ceremony, and are working on her castle and kingdom(I presume), where’s the ‘training’ taking place?
I thought that was obvious.
Perhaps Twilight is still a princess in training. And technically, Equestria is still under Celestia and Luna’s rule. Her time just hasn’t come yet…
2 out of 13 episodes doesn’t seem like “constantly” to me, but I guess that’s just a matter of opinion…
In Daring Don’t and Rainbow Falls, I believe.
So, she’s just saving it for Dash, for whatever reason.
“lecture her friends constantly”?
Episode 4 is “Applebuck Season” by Amy Keating Rogers; it’s also, unsurprisingly, one of my favorites of the first season. Lauren Faust is credited as writer of the first two episodes (which I thought were decent) and co-writer of the third episode, “The Ticket Master” (which, while not bad, is one of the weakest of the series, I think).
I’d hate to say it, but yeah, she really is.
Remember how the first four episodes of the show are considered among the weakest?
Those were all written by her.
Agreed.
And as for the show…is this Season 4? Season 4 is the one where Twilight’s an alicorn right? Cause the only episodes of S4 I’ve seen are Episode 1, 2, and 11….
You get what I’m saying don’t you everyone? Everybody pretends they don’t notice Twilight’s a alicorn princess, EVERYBODY. No matter how many episodes she’s in, which should be decreasing due to some sort of responsibility that comes with being a princess, no pony gives a continuity feather to give.
Most of the good episodes in S4 have been ones that ignore take out her completely, Not because she’s a bad character, she’s a good character…but she’s a walking continuity error and she’s given massive plot/karma armor so gets to lecture her friends constantly while making all the mistakes in the world and never getting called out upon it…except for Discord. Like he’s the only one not genre blind.
Season 4…the season where Discord makes more sense then anybody else.
