The uncanny valley is pretty subjective. For instance, to me it’s pretty disturbing.

But this isn’t the ‘faic’ to me. It’s a ‘faic’ when the lower parts of the eyes are not covered by the cheeks being pushed up.
 
A big smile pushes the cheeks up, and prior to May The Best Pet Win, the show was very consistent with pushing the cheeks up whenever a pony gave big smile.
 
Here, it’s a natural expression to me. The mouth is the only even remotely odd, and that is because of the extra lines used to exaggerate it further. It’s hardly uncanny, though.

adding the extra lines for a more detailed lip quality just pushes cannyville a bit too close endangering the hnnnnnnnng effect :(

i dunno why, but it kinda looks to me like fluttershy’s wearing a hockey jersey, which for some reason makes this gif much cuter.
