I can see why, DBZ is extremely violent and timeline confusing, making it not a series to learn from much, but MLP:FiM actually has a lot can be learned. Boys nowadays are tired of hypermasculine animes.
I won’t bore you with the details. Let’s just say that I’m a very insecure person, and seeing DBZ get bashed so much almost everytime it gets brought up (even by “fans”!) makes me regret ever getting into the series.
Just wonder, why exactly? At least here where I live (USA) DBZ is really well liked. Many a kid who watched anime in the 90s and 00s when Toonami was originally a weekday program watched DBZ and loved it, filler and all. Heck even Kai airs on US TV (last I saw it was on Nicktoons, but I’ve heard rumors Toonami/Cartoon Network is trying to get back the airing rights so they can air uncensored Kai on the new late-night Toonami).
