That, and also not all Arabic people are Muslim either. In fact, ironically most American Arabic people are Christian according to some studies.  
So it’s kinda unfair to assume all Arabic people are Muslim.
 
She could be just wearing the hijab for “style,” or “culture.”

I hope you are enlightened enough to know that not all Muslims wear Hijabs.

They’re a good artist, and I can admit this artwork is good, they’re just not a good person.
 
As I said, it’s also ironic really, this person hates racism, and people judging others on race/nationality, yet they judge people by their fandom, of all things, which is almost as stupid, and close-minded as racism is.
 
I see people try to say bronies are “racist, homophobic, perverted, sexist, misogynistic, mean, bullies, evil, heartless, trolls, communist, cannibals,” and so many other things it’s really not that insulting at this point.

Forgot to add, I don’t mind seeing them drawn as other races, and such, but if people do it just to be “rebelious hipsters,” then they’re doing it for the wrong reason…

I think they do it, because they want to make it obvious they’re Arabic, and “racially diverse.” Yet, ironically, not all Arabic people wear those head covers, or outfits either nowadays. In fact, I hear most Arabic people in America are Christian.
 
Still, if you’re main motivation for drawing a MLP humanized character as a “non-white” race is just to “stick it to the racist bronies,” and such, then you’re doing it for a lousy reason.  
Also, how is generalizing an entire fanbase, make you any better then a person who generalizes an entire race? Saying all bronies, is a pretty nasty claim… Most bronies/pegasisters I’ve known aren’t racist, so obviously this person only pays attention to the trolls, or bad fans.
 
Also, something people don’t realize is, trolls actually pretend to be racist, just to be annoying.  
I remember there was a case of black people getting prank-called by some guy shouting racial slurs, and nasty things at them, so the police, and everyone assumed it was a white person. When they finally tracked down the guy, it turned out to be a black guy. Hilariously, his sentence still required him to take racial sensativity classes.

I dont like hijab on ponies because hijab are too associated on Islam and i like to keep religions and a cartoon on pastel ponies as far as possible. So Tumblr crazies,rest assured that a Twilight wearing a crucfix medallion or a kipa would draw from me the same cringe reaction i have for this picture.

TLDR; They hate it when bronies don’t share the same preferences and interpretations of humanizing as they do.

They’ve ironically become racist themselves when all they do is force diversity and hate an entire fandom for not thinking what they think while trying to speak for those that can already speak themselves and when their art is only racially minded and full of agendas instead of “Diversity because I felt like it” which would have been fine.

Seriously, what’s with all the pony fans on Tumblr who hate EVERY OTHER PONY FAN? Or think we’re all racist, just ‘cause a few random trolls spaz out, over people drawing characters as different races?  
Also, “Muslim,” or “Islam” is not a “race,” it’s a religion, but I can kinda understand bronies not liking asigning IRL religions, and such to the characters.  
(I’m a Christian, but even I’d find it weird to see Rainbow Dash holding a Bible.)
 
Also, why is it they always have to be white, black, or Arabic? How come nobody ever draws them “Asian,” American-Indian, or something? Tell that to these Tumblr folk who want everything “politically correct,” and racially balanced.
