That depends if the writer can create good description of a fight. A lot of people liked how I handled the first story and the second seems to be shaping up the same way. Only this time its against renegade ponies, not griffins.
Yeah but, dosen’t that make dogfights…boring? A pegasi attempting to hit another pegasi doesn’t have as much of an adrenaline rush as two fighter jets jinking ad dodging, trying to get on the other’s six, afterburners alight, cannons firing, missile tones blaring etc.

Wait, how do you have an Ace Combat without planes? Is such a thing possible?
Maybe pegasi, but most of the fillies featured here aren’t capable of flight(Excluding Scootaloo if her status has changed as a flier)
It’s called “Ace Combat: Wings of Unity:. And it diesn’t feature planes. Pegasi don’t need planes. And, yes, they act like reconnisance.
