Modern Casual is the cheapest format to play.
Also Fectchlands are a bit overrated in terms of cost there are many dual colored lands out there. Seriously like fetchlands sometimes cost more than the rest of the deck itself.
I’m sorry, but have you seen the prices of fetchlands these days?
Modern is the cheapest format to play.
All hail that sweet, sweet Brom art.
Plus, my Broodstar/Artifact Affinity deck fucked shit up all day, so that helped too,
Honestly I just use proxies and play in a local group so all I spend money on is ink cartridges.
I have seen some budget decks that win consistently on turn 3.
@Zennistrad
Modern takes a lot of money to get into 9though we have the event deck coming up… with msrp at 75 bucks)
But i’ve been fascinated with it. thart said, Standard isn’t somuch broken as it is stagnant. I didn’t pay attention to competitive standard until recently, and RTR-THS standard became stagnant too quickly. Literally it’s just UW/B control, Blue devotion, and black devotion. GR made a small comeback last weekend but it’s not enough. At least builds become more varied the less competitive you are–stuff like Pro tour and Grand prix is just people being paranoid to try different things but locally, the standard is actually quite diverse
Yeah modern is awesome.
Also this card combos with silence.
Which is similar to this
You want broken, try Urza’s block.
My two favourite spells from that block are Snap and Rewind.
Mirrodin would have been better if it weren’t so ridiculously broken.
I’m afraid I’ll have to disagree with you. Flavour-wise, I believe Theros to be the best, and, mechanically speaking, I liked the original Ravnica block.
Standard sucks. Modern FTW.
