I like to think that the author is trying to make her look like an obvious Changeling, only to later reveal that she’s actually something totally different.

Aren’t you two jumping the gun a bit. Sure she has fangs, doesn’t know much about herself or Equestria, thinks love tastes sweet and gets nervous if anypony so much as mentions changelings but really, what does that prove?
Couldn’t she just be a candy hearts aficionado with bad sugar damaged teeth whom has a deep fear of changelings and mild amnesia. Makes more sense then these changeling theories you throw out there…
Side note: If in the unlikely case that she happens to maybe be a changeling I just hope she isn’t one of those “special” changelings that have cute hair and pony eyes instead of a regular drone.
