Decided to do a closet Maud Pie Cosplay! I took a Rarity Wig I had and tucked it in to make it shorter so yeah it’s not completely strait. Also I don’t have a blue dress so I just went with the grey one. I actually wanna make the full cosplay now!!

Cosplay using things that you can just find in your closet. Most cosplayers usually custom-make their stuff, whereas closet cosplay is more spur-of-the-moment. So yeah, closet cosplay is generally not easy to do since you usually don’t have the right materials readily available.
sorry to ask but what is “closet cosplay” ? (i dont know anything about cosplayers lingo)

Yes! Keeping it simple! I wanna get a grey-blue turtleneck short sleeve dress that goes down to like mid thigh and then get some grey leggings that stop at either mid-calf or at my ankles and then black flats :) Also yes!! Pet rock! Maybe on a leash? XD And I’m already on the hunt for a better wig :P

Now back on topic, I love this cosplay! It’s excellent for a quickie closet job. The makeup is what really makes it, IMHO. That and the expression. Now, if you could just get a wig that you can style, that’d be even better. As for clothes, something plain, I think.
Oh, and get a pet rock to complete the look. :)
Well it’s alright. You were nice enough to admit and apologize for it so it’s all good.
All of the things you said were true and stuff. I guess a reason my eyebrows look thick or detract from anything is because I don’t use the thing that changes them to another color because I have no idea where to find any of that. No I will not tweeze them because that hurts too much but yes, my mother especially agrees that my eyebrows are really thick so maybe when I get the time I’ll go somewhere and get them done because god know’s I’ll just fuck them up even more.
Again I have battled acne for several years and until I can be sure they are completely gone I don’t want to clog up mt pores even more with foundation and stuff… Also I have no idea how to put it on without spilling the entire bottle on whatever and looking like I got a ski suntan because it’s lighter around my eyes than the rest of my face… To put it simply I am a mess with makeup and try to avoid using it when I can. Plus I think confidence is pretty good makeup. Also for the last time it’s not a zit on my lip a beauty mark like Marilyn Monroe or Cindy Crawford have.
Lastly, yeah I know Maud said she doesn’t like candy and I know it’s not in a necklace but A That was the only thing of rock candy that I had and it’s also the color of her eyes coincidentally and B I didn’t eat it in the picture because I know she doesn’t like candy.
Well honestly I feel bad now. Cosplaying should be about fun, and though I don’t cosplay myself I tend to forget that. I apologize for my previous comments. Even if something is not my cup of tea, I should refrain from being impolite.
Fine. As this is a closet cosplay, I am going to ignore the color of the shirt. Though if it were the correct color it would be perfect.
Moving on.
The wig looks to be the right color, though there seems to be a filter, so maybe it isn’t If it is, though, I like it. However, it is very curly at the ends. Though she did say it is a rarity wig, so OK.
Onto the face. They eyebrows are gigantic. For me, personally, they take away from the rest of the cosplay. I think some tweezers would do her good.
Lastly, the eye makeup is nice. That being said, the eyebrows take away from it as I said earlier. The face needs some foundation or something. There is a large zit on her nose and one on her mouth as well. That can easily be covered with foundation, concealer, and powder.
Lastly, the expression is quite nice. But it is said that Maud does not like candy. So why does she have candy that is not on a necklace? That is all. Constructive enough for you?

Allllllrighty asshole lemme tell you some things. 1) Yes, I did run this through a filter. So? I obviously didn’t put that much effort into hiring a professional goddamn photographer because it’s a fucking CLOSET COSPLAY.
2) Who gives a FLYING fuck on weather or not my eyebrows are too thick? The ponies on this show are rarely seen with eyebrows and I don’t think I’m gonna shave mine off for the sake of a goddamn cosplay. You have made that comment on my pictures before and who does it help? FUCKING NO ONE.
3) That piece of “food” on my upper lip is my fucking beauty mark, yes, BEAUTY mark. You may not think I’m pretty and I get that, I may not be everyone’s type especially when the only shots of me they see is in cosplay which I will admit sometimes aren’t my best shots. But outside of cosplaying I consider myself to be hella fine, and you know what? My eyebrows look pretty good with my legit hair and face. I’ll be happy to post an irl pic of me if you want to see what the hell I look like outside of cosplay.
4) I have battled severe acne for 6 years and it has finally cleared up but yes, it has left a mark on my nose that is slowly going down. It’s not some “nasty wart” and even if it was, WHO GIVES A SHIT?! I sure as shit don’t! Throw all the names at me you want because I’ve heard them all but they wont stop me from fucking expressing myself through cosplay.
One last thing. Why the hell don’t you just come out say shit to my face? You’re always hiding behind that fucking “Background Pony” pseudonym. You know I could post my pictures anonymously or defend myself anonymously pretending to be someone else but I don’t. I face my own goddamn problems face to fucking face and one day you should learn to do the same.
Your comments kinda make you look like a huge jerk. It’s not constructive or helpful. When judging a cosplay, you’re looking at how well the cosplay is put together, not playing “hot or not”.
I have no problem with the cosplay, I am aware it is a closet one. But she just is not pretty at all. And looking at her other cosplays, she seems to have a nasty wart or something
It’s prob because of the rather shitty quality of the picture and she said that it was a ‘Closet Cosplay’ so I’m guessing she’ll work on it.
