It was one of the “error” screens, it appears also if you don’t have any blank frames left, connection errors, and such.
The “Who are you running from” error comes from when you select “Run” on the shooting screen, (the screen that parodies RPG menus with “Magic,” “Items,” and such) which is actually a joke command, because “Run” doesn’t do anything.
In some RPG games like “EarthBound” if you select “talk” when not near somebody you get a message saying “Who are you talking to?” So this error is spoofing things like that.
I must add the Gameboy Camera had some of the coolest menu screens of any Nintendo game.
