Well, since the olympics was held in my home country, and it made me proud to be British, and it inspired a generation.

I think it’s pretty dumb.
 
I mean, they really should have the same people doing ALL the events. Right? Then at least it’d be impressive, instead of just an incredible example of overspecialization.

I actually don’t care for the Olympics, I’m actually more concerned with what’s going to happen to all of the stadiums and building that were built for the event after the Olympics end. All too often do the places just get left to fall down on there own. All those millions wasted because nobody had the foresight to plan for when the games draw to a close.
