Pinky Pie from My Little Pony was a fairly last minute decision cosplay that I decided to put together for a sushi get together.  
This is version two of the costume since I didn’t have time to finish it the way I wanted the first time that I wore it.
 
I had a pair of pink shorts that I had previously made for another occasion which I turned into a pair of dungarees.  
They were a bit longer so I shortened them as well as took them in on the sides so they were more form fitting as well as altering the pockets and appliqud balloons onto them.  
I wasn’t able to find buttons in the right size and colour so I painted white buttons with pink nail polish  
I was fortunate enough to have left over pink fabric in my stash to make the rest of the dungarees including a new waist band,bib with pocket and straps.  
The little top is made of yellow gingham that I also already had in my stash.  
Originally I was going to go with a pink top,then a white one but then decided on using yellow instead since I wanted a continuation of the colour somewhere in the costume.Hence the blue bow on the head.
 
The ears were made by my fiance using pink craft foam and slipping clips into them to attach to the wig.  
I bought a pair of pink sneakers and pink socks to finish off the look(and since I wanted to be comfy).I chose the dark pink to be a continuation of the darker pink wig.
