Seems pretty coincidental to me. I mean, the only similarity is that they’re three girls trying to get two people together because they think they’d be happy. There’s no love potion in PPG, or any of the PPG stuff in MLP. The similarity is pretty vague.

Hearts and Hooves day was a LOT better episode then that PPG one. It ended because he didn’t like cats and she didn’t believe the highly possible idea of being taken over.
 
At least the MLP one was entertaining.
