As a long time Mother fan, I loved this hack too. Though there were a bunch of glitches that needed to be fixed and I hope the game gets updated for that.  
It is kinda bittersweet to see Diamond Tiara as Porky now that Crusaders of the Lost Mark has come. Good thing I don’t feel the same way about Discord as Kefka in Pony Fantasy VI though.

Just finished this hack. Loved it, overall! Tis a bit strange seeing Tiara this evil now, though, since Crusaders of The Lost Mark happened. But I could actually see Spoiled Rich fitting the role of Porky/Pokey, pretty well, honestly.  
She seems like the horrible type that would join an evil force just to spite “lesser” ponies.

This game would make so much sense as a crossover.

See, I thought I recognized DD music, but I don’t know Bats very well because I freaking hated that episode AND that song.
 
Oh sure, five friends all ganging up on the shy and sensitive pony, that seems fair.

I think I also heard “Bats” as the theme for the Deep Darkness.
 
I liked how the hack was filled with pony remixes. However, I couldn’t recognize a lot of them. I don’t know if it was because I hadn’t listened to the original songs that much or if I couldn’t recognize them through Earthbound’s soundfont.  
I hope all of the remixes will be put up for download soon. I want to see which remix is which song.

true but the songs were put in last as the creator had some issues with music. If he replaced dinky with babs he would have had to rename the character again redo several parts of the story to mention babs instead of dinky and he would have had to redo the character pallet to match babs coat/hair.

Well, the timeline thing is a decent argument, but by no means total. Some of the songs in the hack are from Season 3 and even Season 4 (there is a version of Heart’s Strong as Horses).
 
Bad Seed is the Manehattan (Fourside) theme.  
True, True Friend is Magicant.  
Have To Find a Way (Twilight’s Lament) is the Sea of Eden.
 
It’s an impressive game, all said and done.

the hack was started before babs was introduced and as Lumino said Ness has psychic abilities which made unicorn magic the best choice fro explaining why the characters could use fire or freeze.

Because it would make no sense for Babs to have PSI. At least Scootaloo’s they can work with it being weather control, since she only learns Ice and Lightning offensively.
