Regardless, they did adapt some fanon names for BG/bit characters like “Lyra,” “Octavia,” “DJ PON3/Vinyl,” and such. Granted you can’t really track down who originally came up with those names, sense they’ve so commonly used by the fandom for years. (They also got around this a bit cleverly by adding onto their names like “Lyra Heartstrings” and “Octavia Melody.”)
 
Though, it was quite odd they named the first toy of Trixie “Lulamoon.” (Then later changed it to “Trixie Lulamoon.”) I like the fanon that Trixie is embarrassed by her full name.
